    Technical detail: Cooling circuit optimization for the BMW S55
    The 3.0-liter S55B30 turbo engine (BMW M3/M4) uses an indirect intercooler circuit (low-temperature circuit) in which the charge air is cooled by separate cooling water. The temperature of this water is the critical factor for engine performance. The Wagner Tuning Competition water cooler kit addresses this bottleneck: the 89% volume expansion of the front cooler massively reduces the temperature of the cooling water. This allows the engine control unit (ECU) to constantly call up higher power, which is essential especially in tuned vehicles (Stage 1, 2, 3) and in racetrack operation.
